Outreach services
Team-based care
A team of medical professionals works with every visitor to make the most of your time and their talents.
Your provider, a nurse and a medical assistant form the team with a role for each that makes sure your needs and questions are addressed.
The nurse and/or medical assistant takes your vital signs and updates your medical history. This frees the provider to spend more time focused on your needs and concerns.
Telehealth
Menomonie Center also offers telehealth. Marshfield Clinic's Telehealth Network is one of the most advanced programs of its kind. This interactive teleconferencing system brings specialty health care services to remote areas of Wisconsin, bridging distances of hundreds of miles.
Patients, nurses and doctors talk as if they are in the same room. Specially designed medical peripherals, such as patient exam cameras, digital stethoscopes and electronic otoscopes, operated by telehealth nurse clinicians, connect with monitors to provide clear images and re-create the in-person exam.
Hospital Services
Hospital services are available through Marshfield Medical Center – Eau Claire.
Menomonie Center is
accredited by The Joint Commission and is a
Primary Care Medical Home-certified health care facility.
Menomonie Community
Menomonie is located in western Wisconsin, 60 miles east of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area along the I-94 corridor. With a population approaching 15,000, the city boasts a strong diversified economy, a variety of seasonal recreations, acres of parkland, and cultural activities.
Menomonie is also home to University of Wisconsin-Stout and benefits from the university's active role in the community and contributions to area economic development.
Built on the shores of Lake Menomin and the banks of the scenic Red Cedar River, Menomonie's early history includes lumbering and saw mills. The city's history has been preserved in its historic downtown area.
The people of Menomonie and Dunn County value their safe neighborhoods, low crime rate, quality education, and diversified economic base. Recreation for all seasons is close by and includes boating, fishing, golf, hiking and nature trails, bicycling trails as well as snowmobile, cross-country ski and snow-shoeing areas.
Although Dunn County is one of Wisconsin's top dairy counties, and rural lifestyle abounds, the City of Menomonie and other areas have seen substantial industrial growth, attracting companies such as Andersen Window, Cardinal Glass, Con-Agra Grocery Products, 3M, and Wal-Mart Distribution Center. Overall, the area offers high quality of life, excellent schools, strong economy, and most important, friendly people.
